Scope company stop selling to civilians

They'll eventually stop selling to humans.

I wonder if it'll be one of those cases where a company can get a hold of a bunch because they sell to gov folks, and then they just sell to civilians

Like, I think about Camelbak - they had a backpack, Urban Assault Concealment, that had a hidden gun compartment, supposed to only sell to LEO/mil
But websites had it, could just order it that way
 
Here is the link to the actual news release from FLIR...it is not a complete 100% exit from civ sales, some lines are continuing, like the Scout and Scion lines of handheld thermals...but no more scopes, goggles, lasers, or 'tactical' stuff.

  • All night vision and thermal riflescopes and clip-on systems
  • All night vision multi-purpose systems and goggles
  • Laser systems
  • All outdoor and tactical accessories
