Y'all see anything that should concern me?
Yea, pics of you blasting away at targets far, far away.Y'all see anything that should concern me?
I was very close to ordering a set of ivory grips yesterday, but due to new laws needed to take delivery in FL and it just wasn’t convenient to do so.I think I have a set of nice Ivory ones for it?????
@gunbelt has the twin to that. I converted it so you can put the safety on and then operate the slide for a little safer loading and unloading. I did some trigger work to it and added some Black Buffalo Horn grips. It Will shoot as am I sure yours will.
Don't hesitate too long on those Stags.I am definitely open to swapping for some new grips. I been eyeballing those stags in the BST.
I don’t think I can shoot it with Ivory... don’t you have to hold your pinky out when you get that fancy?
And JB Weld. They can fix anything with a hacksaw & a file.
Sorry, I don't. Everytime a see a gun without the grip extension up and over the tube, it's only a matter of time. Everything on a 1911, even this small item, is there for a reason.I noticed the safety plunger tube is a bit loose. Not falling off but it shifts a little when you work the safety. @BatteryOaksBilly do ya'll have a staking tool?
Mines been like that for the past 20 years and many many K rounds thru it. Does not bind up the safety, so I'm good with it.I noticed the safety plunger tube is a bit loose. Not falling off but it shifts a little when you work the safety. @BatteryOaksBilly do ya'll have a staking tool?
They reach through to flush with the inside of the frame but there's no bevel to speak of. A couple pics will follow... is this right?
