Second Brain / Personal Knowledge Management(PKM) Systems

Anyone using a second brain or PKM to manage all the random input knowledge one comes across each day?

I've dabbled with it over the years, using things like Pocket, ReadItLater, EverNote, etc, etc ..... still struggling to find all the things I save in a million different places.

I came across stuff by Tiago Forte and his PARA Projects, Areas, Resources, Archive)method for file management and it seems to work well....

Starting to explore the second brain concept with something like Notion.

Anyone else exploring the same?

To be fair some people are trying to figure out how to use their first brain.

My problem is I have the file storage system of a squirrel on meth...🤣

That's true. LOL

I did get the Obsidian app. I liked all the information I input is stored on my sd card and not on a cloud. It's free, and if I really like it I can pay for the "pro" version. I have no idea how to use it to it's potential, or mine, but I'm sure there is a YouTube video I can watch.
