Shed hunting

How soon would y'all say one could go looking for recent sheds?

@SimpleMan posted a pic of a couple I guess he found, but he didn't mention when he found them.

Should they be dropping now, most likely dropped already, or later on?

I've found a shed or two before, but I've never set aside the time to actually go looking for them, and I would like to.

Someone found this on my property and gave it to me. I’ve found a few over the years just by accident. My doggy found a couple as well.

usually, i start after the Super Bowl/Valentine's Day/Daytona.
and keep looking (specifically) until the briars "green up".
but...i am always "sort of" looking everywhere since
the deer are everywhere, too. i have found one
shed in a parking lot.

I saw to nice bucks two weeks ago. Would love to find their sheds.

Most of our deer are still holding both sides of their racks. They've normally all dropped by the middle of February at our place.

As far as I can tell by my trail cams, all my bucks still have their horns. Bertie County

Saw an 8 point on the way to the rabbit woods yesterday morning, still carrying his rack.

Son found one Saturday morning but the 8 point that went by the camera Saturday night was still carrying both sides.
