Weird question. I have a full p80 glock build that i have been looking to sell. I know it is legal for a personal sale but i have a guy in arizona that wants to buy it. Anyone have any experience with how you would go about doing that?

Is it built?

If it's an unfinished frame and related parts just get paid, put it in a box and ship. If the frame has been finished it's now a firearm and would need to go through an FFL. Being an unserialized gun I doubt you'd find an FFL that would do if they even could. If it is a finished piece you're probably going to have to find a local buyer.

ETA: I am not a lawyer nor have I ever played one on TV.

But did you stay at a holiday inn express last night?

In seriousness as long as you haven’t started completion of the frame it’s perfectly legal to ship it. If you’ve altered it, than it will need to be treated like a regular firearms and you’ll need to give it a SN. At least that’s what I understand when selling home builds.

Based solely upon your statement above, you no longer have P80 kit, you have a P80 handgun. And all fed/state laws apply when transferring any handgun.
