Hot enough to stew a mules butt today, and I had just finished walking a couple of miles, but still drug out my old Spanish Mauser in .308 and had a bit of fun shooting at some steel gongs and water jugs for a few minutes. I don't shoot iron sights very often, so I was only at 50 yards today. Think I'll try to get some practice with them over the next few weeks and see how far out I can use them. Not far I'm sure with my ageing eyes, but it will still be fun. Thanks for lookin.
