I know they have Uberti at Bass Pro. It can anyone recommend a shop with more than 1 or 2 Single Action 1873’s for sale?

What brand are you looking for?

Total crapshoot in my experience.

Mine too. I do remember a small pawn/gun shop in Mooresville called “The Aisle” but the it has been a couple years since I’ve been in there and their prices weren’t great.

Finding a Ruger Vaquero is pure luck right now and be prepared to shell out double what they were going for pre-COVID. But, you might get really lucky.

I've had good luck with Cimarron. They tend to order on the higher end of what Uberti can do and their customer service has been good, in my experience. There are a number of places that can order a Cimarron for you, or might have them in stock. We keep them in stock most of the time, but we aren't in the Concord area. There is a Concord show coming up later in April.

Aisle Pawn Shop

If by prices you mean what you see on the tags, ignore them. It’s a wheel-and-deal kind of place.

Beltway Pawn in Matthews always seems to have a bunch of revolvers, but I don’t recall seeing a single action in there.

Not to derail this, but is this place skeezy or safe? I've driven by plenty of times, but I've never stopped.

It was always safe when I lived in Charlotte a few years ago, but I felt like their prices were generally ludicrous.

Yeah, they try to match Hyatt’s for sure. Be prepared to walk out.

I went in there many times several years ago (back when Guitar Center was nearby) and it looks rough from the outside but is OK inside.

I looked on Hyatt's website and they appeared to only have one or two SAA pistols...I'll give them a try.

Your recollection of the exterior appearance is still accurate. Thanks for the confirmation.

I was in Hyatt's last week. They had some old revolvers in the case all the way to the back off to the left.

Funny. I called Hyatts and the guy told me that had Zero SAA pistols but did have many more modern revolvers.

Any of you guys been in Carolina Sporting Arms down on (8055) South Blvd ??

Looks like they got at least 10 showcases for pistols.

Was just in Hyatts and CSA the other day and I'd say CSA might have more inventory.

Google Street View has inside coverage... full views. lol.... might even look at all the cases for what you're looking for.. 😉

Buds have Cimarrons. I almost got one but someone put up an Uberti on here and I grabbed it. It’s in 45colt but happy with it.

CSA is good for inventory but high prices. last time I was in there they wanted >$4k for an SP5

like Jim mentioned above, beltway usually has a pretty good revolver selection

If you are willing to drive an hour, up to Lexington, “The Gun Store” has a large selection of SAA’s new and used. Uberti, Pietta, Ruger, and also black powder versions and and conversions like the Uberti 1851 Colt with cartridge cylinder ala the Good the Bad and the Ugly.
I do a lot of tuning for SASS, for them, so they keep,a large selection in stock, at all times.

Drive 1 1/2 to 2 hours east to Midsouth Guns in Wagram. I promise it’s worth the ride just to look around and he has a nice Collection of SA’s especially Colts. Plan on staying a couple of hours if you want to look at everything. You can find $50 guns to $50k guns.

There are a couple of gun shops around NC that emphasize Cowboy Shooting guns. They're usually worth calling to see if they've got what you're interested in.

One of the good ones is Olde Leaksville Gun Shop. (336)623-2324 They aren't in Charlotte, but then CLT isn't exactly a hotbed of SASS.

"do a lot of tuning for SASS"......

hmmmm You ever work on Uberti Schofields?

Not if I can help it. Lol
Actually, it is a pretty weak action, and putting any pressure on the trigger, as it is cocked, is enough to break the action. I can work on it, but I recommend not doing much to them.
