Sig M17 and Obsidian 9

My Sig M17 did not like Obsidian 9 at full length with my handloads. It would not go fully into battery after firing, I had to tap the slide, about 1/4 inch out of battery for 100 rounds. My handload are 124 gr bullet at 1100 fps. I'm going to try and bump that up to NATO standard of 1200 fps. Might also try the suppressor in the short configuration.

My MP5 ran perfectly with the Obsidian 9...

Any problems with factory ammo?

I’ve got the Obsidian 45 and also the 9. No issues, even with subs, but that was from P320s and FN509s for the 9.

Try a 147 gun bullet

No factory ammo tested yet, that is going to be next weekend. I will get some 115, 124 and 147 and see how it works out.

Yes, I have both a booster and tri lug adapters.

My obsidian doesn’t really like to run well on my Glock. It’s been 100% on my FN 509T though.
