SIG P320 Voluntary Upgrade

Sig called me a day after the Fed-Ex package arrived at their shop and said I forgot to include the fire control assembly. It took a bunch of doing to explain they got one complete pistol PLUS an exchange kit. The next day they said they found the pistol - whew!

Last week I was told both the pistol and the exchange kit were complete and ready to ship. This week they tell me that they were wrong. Now the story is the pistol is complete but the exchange kit goes through a different work stream and it isn't done yet.

Their Customer Support guys are very good but my spidey sense is alerting that they screwed up and the kit was 'lost'.

I sure hope that’s not the case. I’m becoming frustrated with mine taking so long too. I may call tomorrow for the third time and ask the wtf the problem is.

Well it arrived today. Only disappointment was the amount of metal shavings that were inside the slide. Took it out and ran 200 rounds through it. Trigger seems nice. Sighted the rmr buck in and rocking it owb to supper.

Just got mine back yesterday.
Setup the subcompact kit again.
I decided to dry fire it. Nothing. Won't dry fire.
Did they convert this to MA no mag safety?
I'll have to go back to carrying my FNS9C until I get to the range to test it.

Edit.
Damn. I have to send in the subcompact kit too. It is not compatible Ayer the voluntary upgrade.

I read the notice as caliber conversion. Since they are both 9mm it didn't occur to me that the size kits were included.
Being an engineer can make me too literal sometimes.

Yeah it happens. They’ve got to mill a small slot in the slide to add the disconnecter

Just send the barrel and slide, not the grip from the conversion kit unless you want a six week wait
