Are revolvers a problem? Lol. The back sight isn't really a sight it's more of a.....u shape.Try painting the front sight and leaving the rear black.
The biggest problem I see is that we're talking about revolvers
Wouldn't white be the brightest? And so shouldn't it go in front? You want a good contrast, so don’t go white front/ white rear.
I would pick up some very brightly colored nail polish - think neon green, red, yellow - for the front. Then put the white in back.
Try a couple different combos until you find the one YOUR eyes see best. Then, cover the bright color with a clear coat and you're done.
In short range shooting, your focus should be 100% FRONT sight, so make that the brightest spot in the mix.
Lovely!!!! Thanks for putting that "sight" in my head! Lol.I use a dab of bright orange nail polish on my front sights and toenails. I do nothing to the rear sight. I don't even like a white outline.
Paint! I win!Try painting the front sight and leaving the rear black.
