Sliding bipod?

I went to a long range 22 match last weekend. Had a ton of fun and learned alot. I saw several guys that had what looked like a aluminum rail on the bottom of their rifle stocks on the front end that the bipod mounted to. But it was about 10 inches long and about 1.5 inches wide. They would release the tension on the bipod and slide it forward or rear ward when they need to. I have been looking but can't find alot of info. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks

Look like this? Look up Freeland or Anschutz stocks. They are mainly used for installing a hand stop when free hand shooting.

You don’t NEED to pay the Really Right Stuff prices, but RRS does make some quality gear.

My Arca spec rail came from Sawtooth Rifles and attached to the MLOK slots on the hand guard. The bipod is a Harris with RRS rail adapter that will clamp to picatinny and arca-Swiss spec rails both.

Arca rails help out a lot in competition if you are willing to spend the dough.

Yup. In the pic above I still had a Harris. I now run an Atlas with that clamp.

Which height atlas? Do I need the taller one to get out to 1k or further? Was looking at the BT69-nc

@Tim well I ordered the sawtooth rail and rrs atlas adapter. Now just got to order the bipod. Damn this stuff in LR shooting is expensive lol

Ended up ordering the Atlas BT46-NC to run with the RRS clamp and the sawtooth rifles M-Lok ARCA swiss rail.
