Any suggestions on ammo or what to stay away from?
Have a Girsan 10mm and it likes pertmush everything....but it 1911 and hammer fired vs the SW striker so tell me the good and not so good ammo 🍻

Woods carry/hunting, Underwood 200 or 220 grain black cherry. Range work I use whatever is the cheapest ball I can find. Lately it’s been LAX brand and have no issues with my Sig Xten.

Underwood is awesome and have couple boxes but am looking for basic target ammo to burn thru especially when 50 round boxes are less than 20 rounds of the good stuffs!

See quite a bit of Privi around 55-60 cent a round along with Sellior about same .
Along with free shipping!

Haven't bought from Freedom/LAX since the COVID cluster .....they had decent prices before but heard there were issues so stayed away.

I have not heard of any issues with LAX/Freedom and haven’t experienced any myself. I shoot quite of bit of it and have been placing a large order just about every other month. I mainly shoot their reman 9mm but I’ve also shot their 10mm and a decent amount of 38spl. I’m probably around 5K rounds of their 9mm fired and I can’t recall a single ammo related issue.

I have a few boxes of their jhp in 45acp and they run fine in my 1911s!
