I’ve been after a 10/22 with a laminate stock for a while now….
Finally got one!! With a bull hammer forged barrel no less!! And a decent BSA scope came on it.
Had it threaded, and had an extended magazine release installed too. Put about 50 rounds of CCI standard velocity (1,070 fps) through it today. Ridiculously quiet and FUN!!! Gonna put the Volquartsen bolt catch upgrade and a trigger upgrade next.
I’ll probably upgrade the glass, too….

Thanks, bud! It is STOOPID fun to shoot!! A wee bit heavy for free hand shooting, but the extra heft eliminates all the recoil (not that there’s much to begin with!!)

I’m digging it!! So easy to shoot! Shot some Aguila subs out of it. Scope is pretty zeroed, too. Easy banging steel at 190 yards behind the shop

Kidd Triggers are great in these, 10/22 is a great platform to tinker around with.

Finally got my Volquartsen firing pin/striker, extractor, and bolt catch release thingy put in! Next will be an upgrade to the glass. The BSA that is on it is decent, but I think a Nikon or something a little more expensive would suit this rifle a lot better. The glass would certainly be clearer.
