Is there a way that when something is marked SOLD that is automatically moves to a SOLD ITEMS section? The guns for sale forum gets really cluttered with sold items and I am getting a callus on my right index finger from scrolling that could jeopardize my hand-modeling career.

I reported this up the chain to see if there's anything that can be done...something that's not manual.

Deleting the thread might also mess up trader ratings - can someone confirm or deny please?
I know you need the URL to post any feedback, so I wonder what would happen if you delete the thread = url no longer works.

Also, like someone else said, good to see what things are going for in this market etc

The guys that have control over it are looking around to see what options exist. Two that I mentioned were:

1. Having the unsold "float" to the top so all the Sold are still visible after those still for sale.
2. Have a "Sold" subforum under each area, where threads would get moved (manually or automatically) after marked Sold.

That would keep all the history and hopefully all the ratings info.

#2 sounds like it wouldnt be too hard, right?
Messing with forums before, it SHOULD (its been a while) be as easy as moving anything else on the board, like when a thread goes from PG to R and goes to the Basement etc.

Waiting to see.

Heck, worse case is do it manually. I even volunteered to handled it. Once or twice a week just scan them and move the threads in batches. Not like we're talking hundreds of threads.

What's the big deal? The sold threads naturally fall down the list.
Well, there are still quite a few unsold threads mixed in for multiple pages. It would be nice to see them fall away or move.

More of a "1st world problem" issue. :D
