So a while back, my brother and I were speculating on whether this abused Miroku Springfield could shoot. It had been rode hard and put up wet by a reenactor more than a couple times. Rear sight apparatus was missing so with true redneck panache and aplomb, we improvised with a cut nail and some duct tape.




And here's the results- 8 shots, 50yd offhand. We found twisting the nail and reapplying duct tape moved the point of impact. I don't believe they'll allow it in competition since is an "adjustable" sight 😁😆

The right-angle ones often don't work on some gun screws. One that came in from "above," like a slotted screw driver, would work.
