Spirits Review #18: Goldschläger - Cinnamon Liquer!



Bottom Line: Strong cinnamon on the nose. Strong, hot, sweet cinnamon flavor up front. Tastes like the cinnamon Red Hots candy. Any alcohol burn is masked by the cinnamon burn. Goes really good in hot chocolate.4 thumbs up!

There were so many concoctions for this back in HS/College… it was great at masking any stronger liquor it was mixed with. I recall comparing it to Big Red gum.
I recall someone in HS who would mix it with Everclear and and splash of Dr Pepper. I tried it once and it made Everclear tolerable!
