Question: Are spring assisted folding knives legal to carry in NC. I have had different answers from different people. I'mnot talk "switchblade",but a knife that you start with your thumb that a spring pops to full open?
thnx!I believe that an "assisted opening" knife is legally no different than a regular folder.
If it's an otf or if it has an actual button thats a different matter.
How so? I kinda need to know. For a friend. If it's an otf or if it has an actual button thats a different matter.
Spring assisted OTF and locking folders are legal. My understanding from the Raleigh city attorney is that if it has a button you can't conceal it but you can still possess and carry it, similarly to a dagger, knuckles, etc.Question: Are spring assisted folding knives legal to carry in NC.
