Anyone seen a failure like this?

Apparently after 60 rounds the barrel just split?

My money is on a bad heat treatment. Crack connects the dots between stress risers.

That's a thick barrel to suddenly crack like that. Poor material or poor heat treat. Or both.

Bad steel or heat treatment. Splits from obstructions don't occur in the chamber. They bulge at the obstruction and split forward.

EDIT TO ADD:

Looking closely at all the photos now, and I see that it split from one end to the other.

Is there a bulge in the barrel?
