So I borrowed a buddy’s wet tumbler to try and see how I liked it. Man it gets the brass shiny. My only problem is 90% of the cases have at least one pin sideways in them. I had to remove them. Now I’m won’t if I need to re size the cases because some were pretty tight this is in my 6.5 creedmoor brass. I looked at the pins I have bought for my tumbler and they’re listed as 6.5 mm. So there’s the problem. Anyone else run into this? Do they make longer or shorter pins?

Check www.bcprecision.com. I believe the pins they have are the standard size but they have other shapes of SS tumbling media you may be able to use that won't get stuck.

I actually just found a place on fb. It’s called southern shine media and it’s stainless chips. It’s smaller than the pins. You can get 5 pounds for $26 shipped. Going to give them a try I think.

Haven’t run it to the issue you did with pins getting stuck in case mouths. My biggest concern with the chips as pictured would be getting some stuck in flash holes and not seeing them and breaking decapping pins. Curious to see how these work out.

Wow. Those are tiny. Let me know how they work. I'd be very interested to know.

I ordered 5 lbs. We will see how it works. I will report back as soon as I get them and run some brass with it.

There’s a lot of other options besides pins. You could probably even find something big enough it wouldn’t go inside the brass (if that’s what you wanted) or get stuck in the flash hole.

I have a pound of this mixed media (4 shapes) to add to my pins if I ever decide to clean any baffles.

I ordered some yesterday.......looking forward to trying them out when they arrive. I've been using pins for years and have never had that problem nor hanging up in the primer hole.

I think you’ll be very satisfied. I am so far. I need a finer sifter or a media separator though bc some of the chips go through my sifter I’ve been using. It’s a kitchen one.

This might work. Says 9mm but it'll work fine for 223/5.56

Or you may have to go even finer like this one. The 1/50 - 1/100 will work.
