Still unsure why you left Mass.? (Hernandez case).

He was in possession of illegal firearms. All that money and he bought guns through an illegal arms dealer. F him...

He's got life without parole. This case was moot unless he somehow gets an appeal in the 1st case...

First off, I'm no apologist for Hernandez. Just analyzing their court decision. But I have not been able to find where he was arrested with a separate charge for stolen guns in 2012 (the acquittal case). His second incident in 2013, his compadres and himself were found with illegal guns, AFTER the first incident. Haven't been able to find details of the 2012 case other than the details at the bar and the subsequent deaths of two men. He was a suspect while a Univ of Florida footballer after a killing there, but not charged.

Sounds like this dude was just bound to wind up in prison; just a matter of time

I just heard on the radio that Hernandez committed suicide in his cell. Hung himself with a bedsheet.

Without having lived in a BOR-free zone, I'm not sure you understand what an "illegal" gun is. It doesn't necessarily mean stolen.

If your firearm is not on the AGs (currently a statist traitor) "good" list (ever changing, i.e. "living and breathing") = can be illegal

Not having a FOID card (issuance and revocation of completely discretionary/arbitrary) = illegal

Possession of a firearm "registered" (MA technically has no registration but all transfers have a digital or paper trail to the state police) to someone else = illegal

A few former residents of the People's Republic of Marxachusetts on this forum can add to this list. The worst part is, it isn't that my list is incomplete, vague or not well defined, their list is incomplete, vague and not well defined.

Aaron Hernandez’s death means his murder conviction is likely to disappear.

Under Massachusetts law, defense attorneys can seek to have convictions vacated when a defendant dies before an appeal is heard.

Hernandez was convicted of first-degree murder in the 2013 death of Odin Lloyd.

Authorities say Hernandez was found hanging in his Massachusetts prison cell early Wednesday and was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Removing a conviction after the death of a high profile defendant has precedent in the state.

Oh I get that. He wasn't your average joe though. He had the means to get an FOID easily, as well as anything legal to own in the state. It wasn't an oops my pistol isn't technically legal situation and he wasn't doing it to fight the system. He bought guns from a scumbag illegal arms dealer intentionally, because he wanted to be a gangster and thought it was cool. It wasn't a political statement against the oppressive regime...

I get that completely. I'd even go one step further and speculate that he deliberately bought it "off the books" because he thought he might have need for a throwaway.
