Stupidly bad weather forecasts

Even NYC seems a bit warm:

Is there a solar flare or a nuke being released on the 20th? both of the forecast above seem to know something we don't know.
 
I guess there's a good reason that IBM bought the Weather Channel rather than whoever Microsoft uses.
 
I would love to know their model algorithm.

Also, I don't mind 101 in January, but going from 32/16 to 64/50 overnight in Maine seems a bit extreme.
 
You were warned about pending doom with global warming and instead you bought a diesel truck.
 
I want out of this GD RV. I am tired of cold weather! I am sure @Get Off My Lawn can commiserate.

It sucks being at the end stages of a renovation and for the last few months, a few more weeks to go has turned into months. As it stands, floors scheduled to get finished on the 19th and blinds go in on the 28th. That should be the end and commence move in. It also marks 7 months on what was supposed to be a 3-4 month project.

Yeah, the electricians were there yesterday. Left by lunch time. Apparently a $$$ job at High Rock Lake. supposedly they’ll be on site tomorrow (Saturday, though I’ve seen them on the weekends).
