Well that's a bit faster than the RAV-4! Welcome to the Subie family... Go register over at Nasioc if you haven't already. I've had an 02 WRX, 04 STi, and 06 WRX. Back to a lowly Impreza since I'm paying out the nose for daycare at the moment. Look up your local SCCA chapter and hit an autocross to REALLY enjoy that car! A rallycross is even better....
I recently sold my 2015 WRX. I've had 3 in the past. You can't go wrong with it. I got tired of asking to borrow my wife's truck to tow. I ended up trading it for a Jeep.
2001 RS swapped with a 2005 STi motor and drivetrain here. She was a bad girl.... Enjoy yours and I second the above comments. Check out THSCC for autocross and rallycross.
Jeep Grand Cherokee 75th anniversary edition same color as my 15 WRX. It's the one that comes with the bronze wheels and accents. My short list was a Jeep Grand Cherokee, Toyota 4runner, and the WRX was the only sedan on my list. Which Jeep did you buy?
Had a lifted JK 4dr 35inch on micky Thompson's. 6 inch rough country lift and steering stablizer. Loved it but the gas mileage sucked.Sorry. But I'm gonna buy a vehicle with 4 wheel drive it will be another Wrangler to build. Gotta have off road fun too.
WRX is one of the most expensive cars to insure in the country. Also has the highest rate of total loss wrecks. Go figure. All those kids illegally street racing them screw it up for everyone else.

I had 37's on my 2010 Rubicon. 2.5" lift. A lot of added metal. About 700 pounds over stock weight. Poison Spyder steel bumper to bumper. Still got 17MPG highway. The engine to gas tank ski plate probably improved aerodynamics.Had a lifted JK 4dr 35inch on micky Thompson's. 6 inch rough country lift and steering stablizer. Loved it but the gas mileage sucked.
We need pics. Did you do the swap yourself?2001 RS swapped with a 2005 STi motor and drivetrain here. She was a bad girl.... Enjoy yours and I second the above comments. Check out THSCC for autocross and rallycross.
Love the blue!
I was just talking to a couple coworkers about 2017 XT today. If only they offered it with a manual, one would trade in her 13. It looks great though, nice and bold but not too much.Congrats, in for pics. Would love to replace my Legacy with a WRX when it gives up the ghost someday. My wife has a 2017 Forester XT Touring, it's as close as we could practically get this time around.
Was the chicken good that day or did they screw it up as usual

Now Subaru needs to do a Crosstrek XT, that thing is seriously hurting for power!
Agreed, it's a great "mommy missile" currently and my wife LOVES it, but I'm not a huge fan of the CVT or the flat seats. Give me a 6-speed and WRX seats and I'd be tempted to get my own. A crosstrek XT would be neat, and I'd like to see another Legacy GT with a turbo.I was just talking to a couple coworkers about 2017 XT today. No just a limited. I drive about 30k miles a year so I can't afford the gas mileage lol. But it's got a heated steering wheel which is actually pretty nice lolThanks! Is that a Durango R/T (Hemi)?

Not really, I wanted the WRX since I was like 16 and that was my obtainable dream car so towards the end of college I got s job finally making enough money to buy one so I jumped on the chance. Bought it brand new and sold it a year or so later after I drove from Nj to SC and realized there was absolutely no room. Plus driving stick got old and I wanted something bigger w more creature comforts. But now I just got married and will eventually have kids the Durango is nice. My wife drives a Jeep Compass and that shit is so damn small. I wish I could get her to keep my Durango and I could get a pickup. If I didn't drive so much I'd love a WRX as a weekend car, they are so much fun.Did you make the switch because of your family?
I hope to stay with a WRX for years because my wife drives the larger family vehicle for work. If things changes, I would mind taking a hard look at the R/T. Assuming they are still around.
