The problem here is that the ATF can create all the new rules they want but it takes years for the courts to rule on them. We’re still talking about the 80% rule and brace rule, and the ATF is already working on their next rule.

If SCOTUS doesn’t squash this administrative rule making nonsense, we’re going to have bigger and bigger problems.

The problem here is that the ATF can create all the new rules they want but it takes years for the courts to rule on them.

This is the big problem, and it's the way the butt plugs in the current tyrannical federal bureaucracies have figured out how to play this game well.

You're exactly right, that it's the rule making process that's the *real* problem, while the idiocy like 80% lowers is just the symptom.

They’re the same people who can’t articulate why they need 1a or 4a. But demand a need for 2a be explained before a conversation can start.

People need oxygen, water and a little food just to survive. So if we’re really going to get to needs they should start making some adjustments in their life first.
