Talk me out of a 2022 Mustang GT

The first thing I see would be cost fuel … 93 octane @ 18 or so mpg combined (if you drive nicely) vs what you’re spending now in the econohatch. I don’t know what 2 more year of Slo Joe will be doing to gas prices but I would guess not coming down. There would likely be an insurance premium difference also … especially if you don’t drive nicely.

Sorry, 5 years back I wouldn’t be thinking economy but now … stuff is getting more and more expensive and a 2013 MazdaSpeed3 ain’t a bad way to get around. If it’s not giving you problems and repair bills … with two youngins I just can’t see spending the money.
My 2017 ran fine on 87 octane fuel, and the manual said it was ok to use it.

Gonna already assume you're a car guy with you owning a mazdaspeed 3, gonna go out on a limb and say its probably not stock lol. We're car guys, you already know theres a supercharger out there that comes with a warranty lmao. But in all realness, if the cars gonna be a toy and you're keeping the mazda then why not, only concern with the mustang is probably the mt82 in it but I can't speak on that personally. If you're getting rid of the mazda then a sports car that can double as a family car. Maybe a 10th gen civic si, a charger, G37 sedan or something along those lines. If the mazdas leaving I don't know how I feel about shoving kids in the back of a coupe, if theyre still little then its fine.

You buy it yet? We deserve pictures.

Get it now while it has a warrenty. Buy it used later and you'll pay to fix all the unmentioned FoundOnRoadDead issues.

PS. This model dosnt appear to be subject to Fords spontaneous combustion recalls and may be safe to park near the house.

years ago I traded in the mini van for a 5 oh Mustang. Wifey starts complaining about where we are going to fit the kids, Stuff them in back I say. 2 weeks later I hit the drag strip THEN the fun started. Year or so later, they had them self a pick up truck to climb into cause that was the race car hauler. See, they have enough room now.. Many thousands of $ later,, I was happy and not driving a mini van anymore.

I love a late model Mustang GT. I just wish they’d make the seats big enough to fit a grown ass man.
