Curious if anyone has tried the TK 20 or 30 round magazines. I have some minor parts from TK for my 22/45 and they've been fine, no complaints. I was curious about these magazines, durability and reliability. I picked up 2 sets but figured I'd ask around to get other opinions before I assemble and test them.

Awesome! I picked up the complete set so it has a TK spring and feed lip. I saw they make springs for this and the MK series so decided to give them a shot.

I believe you just volunteered to be the Tester & Reviewer for TK Doubleshot mags! :)

This just made my Saturday a whole lot more interesting... I did want to see how durable they'd be for walking in the woods, dropping on hard surfaces, etc. Saturday Science.

+1. I have close to 20 mags in the doublekross bodies. They are great. Love having the clear mag bodies.

Other than being joined what is the point of these over the regular clear mags? I can think of a use or two but curious why these??

I bought a body and used Ruger guts from some spare mags and I love it. Lots of interesting fun if you don't have the assembly/disassembly tool.

Because this is America, and we can. Double capacity without having to fiddle with juggling two mags. Add an extended mag release. I believe they're an advantage in some comps?

Personally don't care for the clear aesthetically, but I suppose it serves a purpose in comps as @RR mentioned. I like the lower profile vs the BX15 or 25, and easier to insert than the 10rounders. I do a lot of shoooting prone and the x25s aren't fantastic. Maybe it's splitting hairs but I figured I'd try them out.. in the name of science.

I forgot about the reduced size. Yeah, it's compact. My only issue us the exposed round at the bottom. Sometimes, I wish it had a cover, but then, that kinda defeats the purpose.

This was actually what I was first thinking of was being in the prone and changing my normal layout. This would "possibly" shift time + on the mag change.

They do make a cover for 10 round 10/22 mags. I I have a device that connects 3 mags together and use them for carrying them to the range. I also have a Ruger American that uses 10/22 mags, and I put the TK extender on them to make them easier to remove.

That's nice have to get a couple.

I wish I saw those covers and that extender. Both of those look really useful. TK puts out some nice products!
