Texas -- Finally somebody says stop

Too bad WS police have probably been given orders to let them break the law here.
 
The Dallas DA will drop everyone of their charges. He is the same guy who told police that any crime under $900 will not be resolved in court so don’t bring them to him.
 
I like her.

At a press conference on June 2, Dallas Police Chief Renee Hall explained what happened.

"There are many who question and are not happy with the decisions that I made on yesterday," she said. "Let me be clear, I am not here to make people happy. My job and our job in law enforcement is to keep this city safe. We have pledged that. We will do that. And that is our goal."
 
Get somebody with a dump truck loaded with boulders go bowling. Repeat as necessary. This nonsense will stop right quick.
 
Don’t let her fool you. Dallas is occupied territory. Some of the burbs may be oh, but the city is just another left wing bastion of crap. Although most of the loons in TX stay in Austin so the numbers may be small there compared to other places.

Why does this amuse me so much?

Another protester, Dede Alexander said, "They advanced on us. We were basically sitting ducks. We were helpless. They did not give any direction. Still, there was no communication."

I'm not sure what Dede expected, but I imagine she must have been somewhat disappointed. At least she recognized her "sitting duck" status in a situation that didn't escalate to "dead duck" status!
 
FWIW, "Dede" is short for D'Andrala. Who ran for city council, and lost, in 2019.
