Hello all, my name Zackary and I live near Charlotte. I’m 18 and just recieved my very first handgun from my grandfather, a .38 S&W Regulation Police CTG. I’m already loving the gun world and want to dive right in to what I can get and have time for. With exceptions of course lol, with that being said, I love to shoot (obviously), spend time with family, and go to church. I’m looking forward to getting to know and learn from you guys. I hope everyone is well. Thanks for coming to my ted talk. (When I say guys
I do not assume all are men, btw).
 
 
P.S. I am engaged to a beautiful young Christian girl. Just want y’all to get to know and trust me a little bit. I have been looking for a forum just like this and it’s way better than I could’ve imagined, the community just makes it. Thanks again.

Well glad you are at all, some people never experience the joy of putting rounds down range. Not to mention the very obvious need for people to defend themselves and one another these days, am I right?

Cool. Figured I’d ask on the random chance we’re at the same one, since we have ~12K on the roll. But it’s Southern Baptist, and opposite side of town from that. :D

Revolver's not a bad way to start, I'm sure lots of the more "seasoned" members started that way, and even though I don't own any now, I did too since they were cheaper than Glocks when I started out.

The more I carry my revolver, honestly the more I love the feel, weight, and look. I would still likely switch in the future for the right gun just because of the bullet speed/round count aspect of a semi auto. In fact, I kind of thought glocks were a little cliche also but really starting to love the look.
