I always wanted to watch it. I wanted to watch it so much i bought the whole series. still never watched it. which is strange because i'll watch ANYTHING with bruce campbell... even his hallmark/lifetime christmas movie.

As I remember an interview with the shows creators, it was a period show that was "over the top, but just barely"

My favorite line from the show was when Briscoe was masquerading as an outlaw and Dixie tells Pete who is about to shoot him, "i think he is somebody", and Pete says, " we don't have much time for existentialism out here on the frontier".

I actually saw that scene last night. I couldn't find the show for free. But there were clips on YouTube.
