32 shooters from each PBR location will compete for a one of a kind special edition Carolina Arms Group 1911 ($3500+ Value). The first round will start February 19th with competitors shooting on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday that week. This pattern will continue for the following five weeks until the final on March 26th in Mooresville. Scores will be calculated and posted on Thursday and advancing competitors will be notified by email with the next rounds registration link. The final course of fire will be a full bay stage using USPSA rules and scoring. There is a $20 entry fee for the tournament and each round will be $30.
Competitors use PBR gun and ammo except for the week six final.
Week 1 – Poker shoot target – best hand between seeds advances to round two
Week 2 – 9mm 1911 – 10 shots at NRA Bullseye target at 70 feet, not timed, scored out of 100
Week 3 – Glock 34 – 30 round stage – 3 strings of fire with mandatory reloads on two strings 12 normal grip, 12 strong hand only, 6 rounds weak hand
Week 4 – Glock 26 – Programmed shoot no shoot scenario, closest shooting distance no less than 30 feet, 20 rounds on 2 NRA targets
Week 5 – Handgun with Optic – two el pres setups – shoot in box A, run to box b, mandatory reload, shoot
Week 6 – Final – Full Bay USPSA Style Stage scored with time plus penalties – competitors use their own gun.
