The Last of Us

I enjoyed it. The last episode was actually better than I’d hoped with the short run time.

Overall I was pleased with the first season. Again I could have done without episode 3 altogether but other than that I stuck well enough to the game story line that I was happy. And the acting was really good IMO.

While I agree the tense, dark and quiet moments of the game were missing I can understand why they were. It’s one thing to be in control of a character and playing a game and enjoying that and another to watch it played out on the screen while you watch.

Oh and I read yesterday the actress playing Ellie will be coming back for season 2 and oddly for exactly the reasons I stated upstream.

She is the age of the season 2 Ellie now and by changing her makeup and wardrobe she will look like a 19 year old.

Is Pablo Pascal going to be in S2? I didnt know if the game had him or not.


Last ep was good, I liked the hospital scene, Joel was on a warpath.
But I DIDNT like how out of 46 minutes there were several minutes recapping the whole season, eating up precious time, in my opinion.

Yes, the ep with Nick Offerman was the only one I didnt like. Just didnt, to me, make sense to have a whole episode about a character that dies in the same one. But that's a complaint I had throughout.

Also, I think Ellie knows he lied to her.

Also, we watched the Making Of tonight, half an hour, was pretty cool
SO interesting how they are able to do VFX on there and 'create' so much in the series.
