Hands down Keltec. What other company has so many of it products be unicorns as it has. Some call them junk and gimmick guns. I really like what they have been doing over the last 10 yrs.
Look at this lst,,How many other manufacturers build guns that sell for a lot more than MSRP

    S2k
    Su16
    PMR
    CMR

Agreed, KT is the bomb for innovation. I just wish they actually made the cool stuff they dream up.

This. I'd love 'em if they could actually keep up (even remotely) with demand. Not only would it alleviate the asspain of chasing down their products, but if the market flooded w/ S2Ks right now, you'd see some other manufacturers copying their designs... which would be good for the consumer (not to mention drive the price of "the original" up)

Just think of KT as Ruger's R&D department.

Outside of the obvious P3AT->LCP, what products have passed to (or been imitated by) Ruger? Of the stuff Majicmike mentioned, I'd love to see Ruger float any of those as a mass-produced item. They've been on the market long enough and the demand is high enough on any of them that Ruger could make a run at it and make some $$$.

The keltec pmr30 that I owned was fun. The not so fun part was trying to find ammo and the cost.

I picked up a Keltec PF9 about 7 yrs ago for pocket carry. Not a pretty piece but it has never failed in any way with any type of ammo. I love it because it's thin, small, and easy to conceal. I've really put mine through the paces and it's still as dependable as it was the day I bought it. It's not a fun gun to shoot but it serves a purpose for me.

Geezer was the first one that drew my attention to Keltecs way back when.

That PMR30 is fun as hell. Ka BLAM!..big fireball...no kick..what's not to like?
Oh yeah. 22 magnum dents a wallet.
Still wouldn't mind having one someday. It'd be one of those guns I wouldn't have to clean too often.

P3AT, P-11, PF-9, all affordable handguns that work. The PF-9 is my favorite, like Brangus said it's flat and easy to conceal. The power of a 9mm in a small package.
The SU-16 line of rifles is very innovative but they are hard to find. A folding, lightweight sporting rifle in .223/5.56 and it takes AR magazines. Yep, Kel Tec is innovative and makes a good product.
Kel Tec's business plan is a smart one. This article explains smoe of the reasons that affect the supply/demand.

When I read the title keltec was the first company that came to mind. Would I want to go to war with a keltec Firearm, probably not. But they make some really cool stuff.

I remember filling out a survey for Ruger, and in the section of "what firearm would you like Ruger to make" or some such, there was an obvious PMR/CMR clone and something about a collapsible pistol cal carbine. I'll be all over that Ruger double stack 22mag pistol when it comes out. I swear I read somewhere that they are already developing it...

The part I liked least was when that POS plastic slide came apart in pieces all in my face, but only after having multiple FTFs (load the mag just like the manual says, and use the ammo the manual says to use to avoid the FTFs), and having a ND/slamfire mag dump before that. It was laser accurate and fun as hell, but that left a bad taste in my mouth, literally and figuratively. I traded my replacement for something else.

That said, I enjoy the SU series quite a bit, and absolutely love my aluminum Sub 9 (feels much more substantial than the plastic Sub2000).

One of the new bullpup 556 rifles came in to the LGS,I inquired about the price ,was told it was going straight to gun broker because it would bring 300 to 400 over MSRP, WTF,

The best pistol they ever made is the P-32 based on earlier Grendel designs...

My friend and I had PF-9's that we bought around the same time. Back then they came with polymer mag releases that soon wore out and would not hold the mags in. We both contacted Kel-Tec and they sent out (free of charge) new steel mag releases. great customer service.

But unfortunately, that didn't fix the problem. Both of our guns continued to drop mags whenever a round was fired. We both ended up selling the guns due to their untrustworthy nature. it would take a lot for me to trust a Kel-Tec again.
