Thief Shot With Arrow

Reporting sucks, I want to know the poundage on the bow, weight of the arrow in grams, which broadhead (brand, fixed, number blades, mechanical), spine, length, draw length, let off, bow brand and model, distance, sight type, which pin, arrow rest type, how long till the perp bedded down. I mean seriously.
anything under 50 pound draw weight it’s basically like trying to defend yourself with a 380. The arrows would basically bounce off of the perpetrator 😂

The tragedy here is that the boy probably won’t get his bow back until after the season is over. And those mechanical broadheads can go for as much as $15 each. You’ll probably never get that one back. I’ll bet a lot of the thief’s victims would be willing to buy him another.
why do the victims get all the fun? i'd probably be willing to kick in a few bucks to get him a new bow and some arrows

The kid’s going to have a tough time finding a taxidermist to mount that kill . Jus sayin…

Johnny Knoxville on Jackass took his grandmother to several taxidermist to see if they would agree to stuff her after she died. I think one said he would if he found out that it was legal. I think a simple skull and crossed femurs , a Euromount I suppose, would be my choice.

I agree with @Geezer . That's gotta hurt. Would love to see some ballistic info of a broadhead from 10 yds.

And the autopsy photographs and report.

It’s been years ago but a guy shot a thief trying to steal his truck with a broad head. It was in Louisville KY shot him through the neck & dead before the police got there. No charges of course in KY you can legally kill a bastard trying to steal your property.

Bow season is really taking off this year.

Madison County Sheriff Buddy Harwood confirms with News 13, one person is in custody charged with murder after a fatal bow and arrow shooting Wednesday in Madison County.

Generally better penetration than a .22 LR. And most of my arrows have penetrated and done more damage than most of the .300 BO subs I've shot deer with. The wound channel a broadhead makes is darn near permanent. Less likely to close up than a small caliber bullet. The blades are nasty on a body. It would look less impressive in ballistic gel than a bullet, but that's because it does not work like a bullet.
Alot better penetration than a 22. Think probably 400gr, razor sharp, pointed projectile, that doesn't deform or mushroom on impact but just slices and cuts, doing around 400fps. Pretty much no hydrostatic shot type of damage like a bullet does, just in one side and out the other cutting everything in it's path, nick a major artery or vein they will bleed out in a minute or so.
