While replacing a door on the side of my garage, I uncovered this

From left to right, that's the open space, the door frame/flashing, the house wrap, and the siding.

The wrap is cut short on the outside of the frame opening???

I am certain that's not right. It should be wrapped around the inside of the opening with the door flashing over it, right?

Spray it with luminol, just in case.
