Thor: Love and Thunder

We enjoyed it but it did have some flaws. 1. Everyone had to be funny. Some scenes it felt like a rush to get to the next joke. Ragnorak was better IMO. The attempt at comedy felt forced at times. The crusing on Mjolnir scene was funny the first, maybe second time. They had to keep going back. 2. Buffoon Thor. His scene after bringing down the glass temple, etc. It made him look like an idiot in my opinion. Thor grew as a character throughout his movies, Avengers movies, etc.. Here he was portrayed as an idiot at times. It was a regression not a progression. As whole we liked it but definitely not the best. The soundtrack was awesome!
The Thor of mythology was never too bright. This was a silly movie but I laughed a lot through it.

Well, the first ten minutes were just stupid.

The rest, good. The ending, not at all what I expected to happen - but pretty satisfying. Not sure if Thor's character arc is over or not, but it'd be fun to see it continue.

They pushed the gayness none-to-subtly.

And Natalie Portman... hot dang. She can hold a hammer anytime.

If you're referring to Corg, I thought it was hilarious. Especially Dwayne, the Rock guy.

I liked the first two but hated this one.
He was played as a complete buffoon I don't know how it made so much money
Christian bales as the god killer had promise but they wasted it.
I watched this at home took me three attempts to get through it.

A mind numbing level of Easter eggs in this. They even Easter egged Cocktail with Tom Cruise.

Big Lebowski
Forest Gump
Cocktail
Star Wars

And tons of pop culture stuff. That was funny.

But yeah, I lot of woke nonsense too.

They already made him sad and weak, why not stupid too?
Yep, my wife and I stopped watching after 30 minutes.. it's fine to be a little light heartened with self deprecating humor (The Iron Man and Spiderman films do this well) but we got the impression this film was a series a cheap gags written by people who despise the underlying story.

I've watched this twice now.

It was better the second time, except the beginning is still so danged cringe worthy. Makes me REALLY glad they didn't do an Asgardians of the Galaxy film.

But I enjoyed it more the second time.

IDK if I can sit through it again.
