Thuds where badass! Wild Weasle is what the Air Force called it, Iron Hand is what the Navy pukes called it. They used A-6s.

The Navy also used the F-4. Definitely a hey-day for military aviation.

I knew one of these guys a long time ago; they lost a lot of folks. His squadron was decimated and he was injured. He ended up flying Puffs/Spookys. Career USAF, flew F-86s in Korea and Germany also.
