Relevant info: 2015 GMC 2500 4wd w/ 20" wheels (265/60R20 tires). Avg ~35k miles a year and 4-5k of that towing 5-8k lbs.

I've been running Continental Terrain Contact A/T for the last 120k or so miles. Loved them originally but they seem to have changed the compound and I've gone from 50-55k miles on a set to 35-40k. I've got 2 with <10k miles on them but the other 2 need to be replaced and I'm ready to just get something different.

Has anyone run the Falken Wildpeak AT and the Toyo AT3s? My research has me split right now. I've found a set of new wheels (Fuel Vapors) with the Falkens on them (<1k miles) that I like but the performance of the Toyos seems to be better. I'm wondering if the additional performance would be worth the Toyos or spend a bit more for the wheels/tires (a bit less if I sell my stock wheels). Has anyone run both of these by any chance?

I had the Falken tires on the Silverado I used to have and loved them. They got great wear and great traction. @muskrat has them on his truck too I believe

Just put a set of the Wildpeak AT3Ws on my F250 after a few friends had success with them.

Very happy with their performance. Quiet, rides smooth, and way better in grass than my old Michelins. Towed a 10k trailer a few hundred miles with them so far and they were great.

Edit to correct typo.

I've got the Toyo's on my 1500 Silverado, and the Falkens on my wife's 4Runner.

The Toyo's tread appear to be slightly more aggressive, and if I remember right, reviews show them to do a little better than the Falkens off-road.

The Falkens have a more aggressive looking sidewall. They are a little quieter than the Toyo's.

Haven't used either off-road other than riding around my property, and haven't had either in the snow...but both have great reviews for off-road and snow.

I'd happily buy either again.

ive rand the falken at3w on my old chevy 2500, and the jeep gladiator i had. my new truck has a couple thousand left on the factory tires and i will go with the falkens on it too.

i thought the falkens rode well, no overbearing noise, had great traction on pavement and for light duty off road as in general farm and hunting uses. way better traction in snow than i was expecting also.

These Falken at3w's have 53,000 miles on them, on a '17 Super Duty 4WD (6.2 gas). I don't run door sticker pressures when I'm not towing, but 55f/45r to improve the ride. I have no trouble getting into the CMS landfill pulling 12,000 pounds. They are still quiet. They have given me no reason to buy anything else.

Falken wildpeak all the way
Working on my second set on 2010 tundra
Had them in some slick sticky red clay mud at Ga deer camp. They get packed full if driving at low speed but floor it and they shed the mud right off

Wow. Lots of great reviews on the Falkens. I appreciate the info everyone. Makes me feel a bit better about my choices.
