'Tis nobler to suppress lest the ears suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous noises.
Or, to take arms against a sea of trouble, leave it be?
This must give us pause.

Got my new Grendel upper in...it has a pretty sweet looking Surefire Warcomp 762 brake/flash hider on it. Trying to decide if I want to mess with it to mount my Omega suppressor, or just leave it be. The rifle is going to be used for games, so the suppressor can come in handy shooting inside of props, communicating with RO's and partners, etc...

Do it!

@TARHEELSTATE aisle 1.
PS any Christmas deals on 9mm cans? :)

Suppress everything you can. I will also point out a suppressed Grendel (along with a lot of other firearms especially high velocity types) will still border right on the heading safe level if not a little over just depending ... so ears (just plugs maybe) should be worn to keep it safe especially when sending more than a hunting handful down range.

Anyone any experience with Griffin Armament Optimus? Looking into Cans myself, and I'm not expecting Hollywood quiet on anything. Just mitigation for hunting purposes or shooting on property, thus love the concept of versatility this has.

After getting a few, I'm disappointed that they're not particularly hearing safe, even with subsonics, if you're shooting more than a few shots. This means pretty much any typical range session would still need ear pro, so I could see why most wouldn't bother. All that said, it definitely takes all the bark out of shooting and makes just wearing ear plugs, even for rifle rounds, a pleasant experience.

When in drought, suppress. Jus sayin...

DOUBT! Damned spell check changing everything!
