Exactly what I suspected. Everything I need to know about electric cars I learned as a kid with RC cars. Quick as lightning short range on hard surfaces. Anything else will kill your fun in a hurry.

Putting any sort of additional load on an electric motor DRAINS the juice. Not ready for truck adaptation if you ask me.

its worth it if you keep it for the long haul, now if your the type that has to trade in every other year the extra cost isnt worth it (same as with hybrids and electric vehicles)

So did this vid tell us anything we did not already know! Of course, the ev is not going to tow at the same rate as a gas or diesel truck. EV trucks are for those people who put Buck mark stickers, dear head stickers and Glock stickers on the back window. The truck will never see a dirt or gravel road or spend the night outside. It will never have mud caked in the fender wells or be without a ceramic wax job. EV truck are for the guy who finally quit putting bull balls on the trailer hitch.

I don’t know how much a gas truck went for in 2020. I paid 45k for this truck.
