Traveling gun safe

I am traveling with the family over spring break. We are meeting some family in a mountain 6 bedroom cabin. Lots of teens and toddlers (mine are toddlers). Does anyone have a safe they recommend to travel with ?

I was thinking about getting a pelican and just putting a small lock on it. I like traveling with my sub2k , g19 , and about 5 happy sticks( 33rounders).

I have a desk top gun vault but that does fit the bill.

I plan to do hiking while I’m there and would like to be able to leave the sub2k at the cabin instead of the car.

The Pelican makes sense to me. If you're not going to give it a lot of use, there are some good alternatives that cost less. I've had great luck with one from www.Monoprice.com and apparently Harbor Freight is selling hard cases now.

Monoprice is THE place to buy cables, connectors, adapters and stuff like that for computer networking, audio/video, etc. The only caveat about the case I bought is that it required a lock with a relatively long hasp.

I've looked at those twice now while in the store and almost walked out with it both times. It's a VERY nice case for the money... Hell, even for more money is a nice case.

That is one of HF’s better items and if you compare it to a Flambeau HD case I swear they are made in the same factory at less than half the price.
