Tried a new accessory

I recently received an accessory for my GP-100 MC in 10mm.
It's an extended cylinder release for competition. It looks a little funny,, but it sure works VERY, VERY well. My speed reloads seemed quicker & smoother today at my local USPSA match. And it must have worked because my scores reflected a "good day" at the match.
Hogue makes the cylinder release lever,, and I LIKE it.

Now,, I know some folks have no need for such a device,, and that's fine. But I wanted to give a review of it for those who MIGHT like one.

Not that extreme but I have used oversized thumb latches on all my S&W competition guns for years.

I have an extended release on my S&W competition gun as well. The differences are that S&W pushes forward,, while the Ruger pushes in. So a lever type was necessary for the Ruger.

Sadly, the picture makes it appear to stick way out. I'll try & get a picture from above/behind it later to post.
