Decided to try a different tack with the carry gun. I’ve carried a couple different J-frames in the last few years, model 36, 340, 640 PC. I’ve heard good things about the Kimber, and I found one used at my LGS so I thought I’d give it a try. I’ve not had an opportunity to shoot it yet, but my impressions so far are good. It’s a bit heavier than the Airweights I’ve carried for years now, but it’s very solid and all stainless. Six rounds of .357 mag is a nice option, though I doubt I’ll carry more than .38 +P. Though it’s probably not necessary I love the recessed chambers. Seems like a nice old-world touch. I look forward to putting many rounds down range with this new gun!
