I use their base layers and love it. I don’t have any experience with their outer wear though.

No mine are just regular cold weather gear under armor. I think I paid around $120/top and bottom set

I use their bottoms. But expensive.
That being said, layering has been pretty basic since layering has been considered important to warmth and moisture control. Just "technology" and marketing to raise the prices.
Probably going to get the base layer kit from the army surplus store. Top and bottoms are $25.

Update... I looked at this as an investment and bought the 4.0 base layers top and bottom and revenant windstopper parka and pants, I will be very upset if i get cold this late season her in central/western NC. lol.
