Yuck you should have went to an ortho urgent care at least you would have to sanitize your body afterwards. Hope all turns out ok.

I hate the emergency room, all these people hacking around you, many, often, with not enough manners to cover their mouths etc
 
Ah the ole cesspool.... urgent care and CNN. Hope all ends up well with the wifey. You on the other hand may be too far gone.....:D
 
Do not get the respiratory thing this year. I've worked through every one the last few years but this one has laid me out cold for days.

Too late for me. I usually get a bit of something in October, but this crap showed up at Thanksgiving and is still with me. Can’t seem to shake it. It’s like a rabid chihuahua.

Same. It has waxed and waned and came back this week with a vengeance . I haven't been this sick for 10 years
 
Lots of out of the norm stuff going around lately. A few months back, I got struck with something flu like, but not quite. That same week, a flight coming in to JFK, one in Pittsburgh and one in Paris were quarantined due to a dozen or so people suddenly getting sick on board. The JFK flight come from Dubai and the CDC was involved. Never heard anything else about it.

I also hope that you burned the clothing you were wearing in the waiting room.
I usually wear a hazmat suit if I have to wait in the ER waiting room. People give me plenty of space.

Well now you have TB too. I broke down and drank out of a drinking fountain yesterday. I am screwed. :(

Last time I used a drinking fountain in a public place, I got a norovirus and was busy at both ends simultaneously. There is nothing like having your head in the toilet heaving your guts out and diarrhea running down your legs and there is nothing you can do about it but wait for it to stop and then shower off as you shiver in the hot water. Even the cat knew something was wrong and stood in the doorway looking at me periodically and howling loudly.

Never again, please.
