well i, for one, would never move and then try to follow up with paperwork after the fact. that would be against the law.

Well it seems Vickers Tactical’s FFL lapsed in April ‘21 … not sure if they had filed for renewal or what …

Guys, I happen to have immense respect for Mr.Vickers. Maybe that's misplaced, but I'd prefer the mods lock this up before anyone sees it fitting to run his name through the mud.

It'd surprise me if that happened here.
A friend had his SOT3/7 (I think that's the designation), he sent in the update forms and $, the ATF misplaced it, dropped his permission, then told him he'd have to go through the initial anal exam to reinstate his license. He even had proof that everything was in the ATF's hands on time.

I don't like the idea of it being locked; however, I most certainly do not like his name being run through the mud. We know...nothing. Can we back off from assigning guilt until the process plays out?

FWIW, I have taken numerous classes with him (as have others here), I have nothing but mad respect.

I'll say if, and that's a big IF, they got anything on him, short of child pornography, it won't change how I feel about him.

Sorry guys, I didn’t realize sharing negative info would hurt so many feelings. I’ve deleted my comment and will refrain from posting any other negative speculation until we have verifiable, public sources.

I don’t think anyone on this entire forum wants anything negative to happen to him, and I honestly hope my source is wrong.

Not you for sure, and it's not the information you shared. It's all of the editorial in between that's the problem.

I think we are all looking forward to more, corroborated information.
 
He posted something about 6 hours ago regarding a pistol he evaluated, the comments are absolutely roasting him. Man, I really really hate to see that.

True. Point is, I have a ton of respect for LAV. It would take a lot more than a "firearms violation" to change my mind. It would have to be something on the magnitude of selling nukes to Pakistan.

Not that I saw, but I only read about 50 or so down. The worst comments IMO are those about the $5k price tag of the Luago pistol but there are maybe 15% of ATF related comments, most curious but some taking little jabs.

Internet bravado. It's only people saying things online they'd never say to his face.
My guess is that his SOT expired and he had bigger things to worry about. He doesn't owe anyone an explanation of his actions so we may never know the reason his guns were seized.

Yeah, watched this exact thing play out. Then watched them try to fix it so there was a more positive outcome. ATF got in the way of doing anything that made sense or worked out in anyone else's favor that did not end in their preferred outcomes. Preferred outcomes were bankrupting fines, jail time, or surrendering the FFL. And I would not be surprised to find out they pressured the landlord to turn on them too.
 
After reading some of the posts on social media on Larry's channels, I am loosing hope for the 2nd A community in large.

Between the down right nasty comments, the wealth envy, the professional jealousy, it's a damn shame.

We have seen it time and time again where we turn on our selves so fast.

It's just sad.
