Passed on a new one in 1989; have a chance to get used now.
Interarms version, even the non 'S' version tho is close to G26 weight empty.
How are they to shoot? My LCP is featherweight so a bit snappy.
Have ammo and components so caliber is not a concern; no issue for me to tune the action and lighten the trigger.

BTW in '89 I bought a Beretta 84, beauty but a bit too large for a .380 IMHO. Like a 92 mini me clone with double stack.

Not for EDC; just a bucket list gun to replace some recent sales in the safe. And the wife may like it too with the SA option; call me old school but I like hammers on guns.

I’m not a fan of the trigger, you’ll definitely want to work on it. They seem accurate enough for me, but the Sig 230 is an improvement.

.32 or .380? Love mine but can tell you that I along with others that shoot their .380 PPK, you are likely going to have some skin taken off at the base of your thumb. I think Bond is the only one who hasn’t had this happen.

I have a Interarms Walther PPK/S and love it.

It’s a novelty gun for me, in 380 ACP.

I didn’t care for the original plastic grips. I ended up getting some G10 grips that are a ton more comfortable for me.

Never got the slide bite, personally.

It is heavy so the recoil is easily controlled.

I had a .32 PPK/S, and I loved it other than some slide bite if I got careless.

I've got a FEG clone called the APK. It's obvious that it wants to bite you, though it hasn't got me yet.
The sights are pathetic nubs. The kind of things that suggest your supposed to screw the little .380 up the bad guy's nose before you pull the trigger.
The trigger was over 20 pounds. Literally bottomed out the scale. Some Wolff springs tamed it significantly, but it's still an insane 11-12 pound double action trigger. Safe-ish to pocket without a holster is probably what they were going for, but darn.
Magazines are expensive.
The pistol itself is heavy so it shoots like a hot .22, but it's antiquated. If you're going to carry that much weight in your pocket a modern design pistol will serve you better.
You can get a Sig 238 in .380 and have a gun that solves every gripe I have about the PPK types.

Had one. Ok, gun. Looks better than it shoots. My Dad liked it so gave it to him. He still owns it. IMO they are cool looking and cool to have, but it wouldn’t be a carry gun for me. Many better options. Maybe as a backup gun in a pack or vehicle? Or just a cool gun to shoot at the range. If I remember correctly trigger is poor and they are tough to rack. But they are pretty.

I have them in .32 and .22 not .380. This might not set well with some but we have seen alot of them through here...alot. I have never seen one through here that would pass the 100 round test....not ever.

I really need to start working backwards in walther pistols. But as Billy mentioned, they're not really great guns, and not really worth the price that they usually go for. Also they keep putting out new stuff that i tend to buy, and I only have so much moneys...

It’s a great looking and novelty gun, but you’d be behooved to choose this over a more modern firearm.

I’d love to own one one day but for a carry gun, there’s much better options. This is coming from a guy who plans on carrying his Kahr K9 occasionally so take that as you will 😂

I use to own one but moved it along. My experiences mirror others above in the post. The Walthers are defiantly nice to look at but that’s about it imo. If you want a classic semi automatic with a hammer that functions just as good as it looks then I would recommend tracking down a Browning Hi Power.

Actually and amusingly, your typo, ".........are defiantly.........." is perfectly appropriate! The dang things can indeed be defiant in that the dern things like to bite back every now and then.

Thx - definitely one I can take or leave; the weight is a big issue for me in a .380.
I love the PPK...........but I love my TPH even better!!!!! In the pantheon of sexy guns, the PPK is right up there with the Python.....IMO!
