Walther PPS M2 LE Input

Got a hankerin for a 9mm Walther PPS, although I haven't even held one. Seems like a good EDC. Any inputs?

Not sure which version it was but I was not impressed with the trigger on the one I fondled. Just not what I was expecting after the PPQ excellence.

Definitely not a PPQ class trigger. That would be great but I doubt the price point could handle it. Maybe aftermarket eventually.

The PPS has really come down in price since it was introduced. It has more competition in the form of the S&W Shield, XD-S and the single stack Glock. The trigger on my wife's "first generation" pistol is better than most of the Glocks I have tried, but not as good as a PPQ or a Sig P320. Some owners report that their PPS shoots as well as a full sized 9mm. I can't shoot it that well but that's probably my issue, not Walther's.

Hoping Walther comes out with a PPQ compact this year at shot show. That and/or a PPQ 45 w/ threaded barrel.
