So Brian, I take it that your not interested in my f150 any longer.
Nice Jeep!!! I had every intention of buying a new one and keeping my other truck, ( and I could have bought a new one for the difference!) but I like my truck and I've always liked the TJ body style better so I guess I'll be bumming around in the old one!
That was one good looking Jeep and looked brand spanking new every time I saw it. Of course your new one doesn't look too shabby either.Letting my old TJ leave the stable was a difficult decision. It only had 181k on the odo...was just getting broken in well.
My friend has a couple, he may be willing to move one of them.Anyone have an M38A1 they're looking to get rid of? Not looking a full resto but a decent running one.
My toy was my daily driver too. My kids loved being dropped of at school in it.I'll admit...don't believe I made it over that one above. It might've been been the spot a buddy of mine flipped my TJ over backwards the next day.
But...it would make it over little rocks like this.

Best money I ever spent on that thing was a $1200 trailer...offset by canceling insurance and turning in the plate.
I found all my wheelin' pics, including some from Uwharrie, Devils Playground, Cracker's Neck - Callalante, Gulches, Crozet, and Tellico. Ah, the memories.
Yeah, mine started that way. It would run 65-70 on the interstate as pictured above. I bought the trailer ($1200) and a tow rig ($2300) and never looked back. Only thing different to the TJ after that was I swapped from radials to bias Iroks (both 36").My toy was my daily driver too. My kids loved being dropped of at school in it.
Had a great laugh when my rather over weight sister in law tried to climb up into it. [emoji38] [emoji12]
My uncle who passed away a year ago had 2 M38s, the flat hood military models. One was brand new, with a new body, new motor, rebuilt transmission and transfer case, new frame and wiring harness. All it needed was the seats. The other was a rebuilt Navy Jeep that I helped him work on when I was a kid. His kids sold them both foe $2000 just to get rid of them! I about died! I'd have given them more than that! That's been about 3-4 months ago. I've been sick about it ever since.Nice looking Jeep, get the bug deflector for the front hood, it's worth it for keeping bugs off the flat windshield, rocks too.

Just a plain 1996 long bed. 5 sp manual with a 300 str 6 cylinder.
3.6 Pentastar? should have good get up n go.....And I found one today.
2013, 50,000 miles, 6spd manual 4wd.
So far I love it. It's on great shape to be 4 years old. I wish it had a hard top. I'll probably eventually get a used one somewhere for it.

Ran 37x12.5 TRXUS MT on the off road. These were much quieter on road than the 32" BFG MT. Had awesome wet and snow traction.Yeah, mine started that way. It would run 65-70 on the interstate as pictured above. I bought the trailer ($1200) and a tow rig ($2300) and never looked back. It does have the 3.63.6 Pentastar? should have good get up n go.....
Service records? showing head replacement? that was one thing with the 3.6... they extended warranty on them... most happened before 35k miles.
Anytime people talk Jeeps I think of this video.
Not yet. Wanna go jeeping???Have you and your boyfriend pounded any mud holes in that jeep of yours yet?
