We just finished up our 3rd session of the summer at Camp Raven Knob and on the 4th! I did have some pix sent from others who were there and I'll share them. Of note this week was a friend of mine who builds custom flintlocks. Bob wore colonial militia clothing for the day and demonstrated flintlock firing and accuracy with a smoothbore flinter he built. As always, we begin with a safety and history brief and then move into traditional patch round ball. From there we shoot the 50cal minies we now use to acclimate the kids to their use in guns they've already been shooting. @ronn47, yer gun got a workout yesterday! The kids mostly came from Miami and a couple were also from eastern NC. So a couple pix.
