While home on leave, put insulation and paneling up inside my workshop.
Looks good. I started out reloading in a spare bedroom, but ended up buying a pre-fab 12x20 building. It was bare on the inside, like yours. I wired and insulated it myself, and I went a little overboard on the insulation. I have it so that an oil-filled electric radiator, on the low (600w) setting, can keep it about 35 degrees above ambient in the winter, and a 6k btu window air conditioner can keep it comfortable in the summer. I keep it climate controlled 24/7 so that I don't have to worry about humidity or temp swings. While home on leave, put insulation and paneling up inside my workshop.
Oh, and there is a fridge with refreshments, and a TV and recliner.
I want a recliner like I saw in the movie "Idiocracy".
Tried to set up a spare Lee turret head for .300BLK but discovered that I need the standard/short rifle charging die.
I ordered the long rifle die, tried my 9mm pistol die, and tried swapping internals around before googling and quickly learning that I need a new die. No big deal, $12.
Im using TAC as well with them 25.3gr, 2769fps out of a 14.5'' barrelSaturday:
Grabbed some blem 55gr bullets from @Butter
Finished tweaking my friend's new 1050
Loaded up some test rounds with IMR4895 and TAC
Tested at Blackstone
Loaded up 200rd
Sunday:
Showed another friend how to use my SDB
He loaded 300rd as I mowed the lawn
That was my first choice but he has 8lb of TAC and 18lb of IMR, sooo for the sake of free powder for a long time, we went with the IMR at 24.6gr. Those cases are damn near spilling over at 25.0!Im using TAC as well with them 25.3gr, 2769fps out of a 14.5'' barrel
Nice looking pressSetup my new SDB last weekend and ran my first hundred rounds through it. A bit of a change from running my Lee turret but it's much more consistent!

I find it interesting that in 5.56, the FC brass requires little or no trimming (many are shorter than the trim-to length) while the LC brass need lots of trimming. In 7.62, it is reversed, the LC needs little trimming while many of the FC require lots of trimming.
And then there is the Perfecta. Lots of off-center flash holes in 5.56, but in 7.62 they are all centered. At least in the batches I have seen.
I have mucho perfecta and gfl headstamped .223 brass for super cheap
Cleaned, sized, trimmed some 45 70. Going to load 75 rounds for nexted match coming up.
