Leaving NOW on a famous @Geezer gun buying road trip!!!!!!!!!!! Wish us luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The brown Santa brought these today.
Back home now.
Billy and I saved a bunch of money this evening. We went to look at 2 Colt Single Action Army and 2 US Arms Single Action revolvers. All were in 45 Colt and both pair were consecutive serial numbered guns. The Colts were shooter grade, nice guns, but we didn't think they were worth quite what he was wanting. I already have 2 shooter grade Colts and would like to have something nicer.
The US guns were nice but the price was still a little too heavy, So, we walked away with wallets intact. Billy and I got to spend a little time together and got to look at some cool revolvers and meet a nice old retired cop. Not a bad way to spend a Tuesday evening.
Now you just need to get that sucker off to cajun for the E upgrade
Tucker Gun Leather HF1, belt and mag pouch.
Now I get to sit and wait for it!
Going to shoot it for a bit first. Then the upgrades will come. SA feels pretty good now. Hell of a gun for the price, Can’t see why anyone would buy a cheap 1911 over this beast. Grip size with the thin grips isn’t bad.
G34 & Shadow2 food just arrived, 1,000 9mm 124g fliers for $0.082/ea. delivered.
This came in today and just got it put together. Bullpup kit for my Hipoint carbine
A bunch o' once fired 9mm, ,45ACP and .357 magnum brass from fellow forum members. Time to get to cleaning!
Hmmm..... How to get someone to shoot a Hipoint - and like it - without them knowing it is a Hipoint.
Another big bucket of 9mm brass from a forum member.
I thought the trigger was surprisingly good out of the box, too. It's a fantastic shooter as is, I'm not sure I'll ever upgrade anything on it other than my preferred night sight system
More targets at the range.
Ordered a complete AR upper in 458 SOCOM. I put together the lower using a Palmetto State armory enhanced parts kit with an Anderson stripped lower
After telling an old friend about the 458 SOCOM rifle he asked if I was going to reload for it .My reply was Yes. Well yesterday I received a package from him . Inside the box was close to 100 pieces of 458 SOCOM once fired brass and 2 boxes of 450 grain ammo from SBR ammo company. . The ammo was a total shock.
IWB holster, 4 magazines and 2 Hyve +2 adapters for a Glock 43x. I may have finally found a replacement for my Shield
Hope to pick this up Wed.
and it has been cleaned and ready to be broken in.
2 targets. 50 rds of 9mm.
You’ve shot 1,000 rounds since Tuesday?
If she has she needs to model the left over pasties!
Nope, I didn't take enough ammo with me this morning! LoL.
Picked up 2000 rounds of M-22 yesterday.
Popped my little blue pill cherry and bought 500 Librarians.
(That sentence would get really strange looks from anybody outside of CFF...and probably confuses many that are insiders as well)
Got a script from your doc and overestimated your abilities?
500 may be a bit much. Enjoy!
500 seconds would work its just over 8 minutes
Burris 2.75x32 Scout scope.
I picked this up today from Clayton Guns. If you haven't been to this shop and live in the area or if you just might be passing through, I'd highly recommend stopping in. Very friendly owner and staff. They also do cerakote and custom engraving. I believe he also is a gunsmith.
This is a Springfield Armory Saint Edge. It has gotta have one of the best triggers straight from the factory on an AR that I've ever owned. Rifle weighs in at just over 6lbs and for a person that arthritis runs in the family that's gonna be nice. I bought the red dot with the intention of running it on this rifle but I liked this rifle so much that I decided to put a deposit on his baby brother and I'll be picking that up on Friday. I'm going to run this red dot on the baby brother and get a scope for this one.
The only thing I'd say that I dont like right now about the safety selector is that it's really stiff to push back into safety. Goes into the fire position fine though. Hopefully once I start breaking it in, it'll loosen up.
Got some cheap accessories for my Hipoint bullpup carbine in today. Flip up sights, reticle, muzzle brake, and a couple of 20 round Redball mags
At it's new home now!!
Mailed home my Magazine, Lee Enfield dated 1895 from Afghanistan to home this week . Not considered a firearm but an antique. Got all the custom paperwork completed.
At Triangle Shooting Academy this afternoon, always look at the used gun display case.
Grabbed a Beretta Neos 6" .22lr stainless, early production 2008 from MD, I have the 4" blued that was made in TN.
I run my .22 Sparrow suppressor with that one.
Like Christmas today!
Where did you have that made? I may want to order for my dad.
